St Catherine’s College, Sion Hill, Blackrock, Co Dublin, Ireland opened as a Training College for Teachers of Domestic Science by the Dominican Order in September 1929. In 1971 the College became known as St Catherine’s College of Home Economics and later again  as St Catherine’s College of Education  for Home Economics.The Future of the College
The College is being used for the next 4 years by the Blackrock Clinic, which is directly next door.  They have opened a walk through entrance near the back.  The building will be well maintained until such time as further decisions need to be made as to the future.
